Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Food Scanner mobile application (the "App"), developed and operated by Novago Global Solutions FZ-LLC, a company registered in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates.

The App is a food and calorie tracking utility that lets users photograph their meals to receive estimated calorie and nutrition information, keep a food diary, and browse recipes.

By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Description of the Service

The App estimates the calorie and macronutrient content of meals from photos you capture, lets you save and edit entries in a personal diary, and provides a collection of recipes.

All calorie and nutrition values are approximate and provided for general informational purposes only. You remain in control of your own diary and can edit or delete any entry at any time.

The App does not provide cloud storage and does not access or modify system files outside of permissions granted by you.

Food Recognition

To recognize a meal, photos you capture are processed by a third-party recognition service and returned as calorie and nutrition estimates. By using the scanning feature, you consent to this processing. If you prefer not to use it, you may add meals manually.

License and Intellectual Property

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not:

• copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App;
• reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code;
• use the App to create a competing product.

User Responsibilities

The App is rated 4+ on the App Store and can be used by a general audience. You are responsible for how you interpret and act on the information the App provides.

Subscriptions, Fees, and Payments

Certain features require a paid subscription billed through your Apple ID via the App Store.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.

Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple under Apple's policies.

Third-Party Services

The App relies on trusted third-party services for meal recognition, analytics, crash diagnostics, subscription management, and marketing attribution.

Changes to the Service

We may update, modify, or discontinue parts of the App to improve functionality and reliability.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or the accuracy of any calorie or nutrition estimate.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damages resulting from the use of the App.

App Store Terms (Apple)

These Terms are between you and the Company, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App and has no obligation to provide support.

Termination

We may suspend access to the App if these Terms are violated.
