Privacy Policy

Effective: July 16, 2025

Novago Global Solutions FZ-LLC ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you provide when using the File Manager mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your data when you interact with our App.

As an iOS cleaner, the App may request access to elements of your device such as storage, media files, or system data for the purpose of performing cleanup operations. All data access is strictly limited to functions necessary to deliver core app features such as detecting junk files, managing large media, and removing duplicates.

We do not sell your personal information. We use appropriate technical and organizational safeguards to protect your data and comply with relevant data protection laws, including (where applicable) the GDPR, CCPA, and Apple's App Store guidelines.

By using the App, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please discontinue use of the App.

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be clearly communicated within the App or via update notifications.

1. Information We Collect

The App is designed to function with minimal data collection. Most features operate directly on your device without transmitting personal data. However, to ensure proper functionality, performance monitoring, and optional features, we may process limited types of information.

When you use the App, we collect basic technical data about your device, such as model, iOS version, language settings, and the version of the App. We may also collect non-personal information related to how you interact with the App, such as which features are used and how often—strictly to improve functionality and user experience.

In the event of a crash or error, diagnostic information is sent automatically to our analytics provider, Firebase (a service operated by Google). This includes crash logs, device information, and limited contextual data around the crash event. These diagnostics help us fix bugs and improve performance.

We do not access your personal files, messages, photos, or contact data under any circumstances.

2. Payments and Subscriptions

All matters related to payments, subscriptions, and billing are managed exclusively through Apple Inc. via the App Store infrastructure. We do not have access to, nor do we store, any user credit card numbers, billing addresses, or financial credentials. Any purchases made within the App—whether one-time transactions or recurring subscriptions—are processed entirely by Apple and are subject to Apple's own terms, conditions, and privacy policies.

While we may receive anonymized or aggregated metadata from Apple (such as subscription status or geographic region), we do not receive information about specific payment methods or transaction IDs. For any inquiries regarding charges, refunds, renewals, or billing issues, users should refer directly to their Apple ID account or contact Apple Support. Please be advised that uninstalling the App does not cancel an active subscription—you must manage or cancel it directly through your Apple account settings.

3. How We Use Information

We are committed to using only the minimal amount of data required to provide a stable, secure, and functional experience. The information we receive is used strictly for maintaining and improving the performance of the App, such as identifying bugs, analyzing usage patterns, and ensuring compatibility across devices and iOS versions.

In specific cases, such as when you use in-app diagnostics or engage with optional interactive features, data may be temporarily processed to fulfill your immediate request. However, we do not use your personal data for advertising purposes, do not create user profiles, and do not participate in any form of behavioral tracking. We also do not share or sell your information to third parties for marketing or promotional use.

4. Our Partners

To deliver certain technical functions and services reliably, we depend on a small group of well-established third-party providers, each of which serves a clearly defined role.

  • Apple App Store (Apple Inc.), for handling all payments, subscriptions, and account-related transactions.
  • Firebase (Google LLC), for receiving crash reports and technical diagnostics.
  • OpenAI (ChatGPT), for optional language-based features or support within the App.

Each of these partners operates under their own privacy policies and data protection frameworks. We work only with organizations that meet industry standards for data handling and require that any data they process on our behalf is limited strictly to what's necessary for their specific task. No partner is permitted to use this information for any unrelated or secondary purposes.

For further transparency, we encourage you to review the privacy policies of our service providers directly:

These policies outline how each provider handles data within their own systems, including any applicable international safeguards, retention practices, and user rights. While our App minimizes data collection, any data that is handled through these partners is done so with contractual safeguards in place and under strict adherence to global privacy norms.

5. Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the data we process through the App. This includes secure communication channels, encrypted storage of diagnostic logs, and strict internal access controls. Our goal is to mitigate the risk of unauthorized access, alteration, or misuse of data.

However, it is important to recognize that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage, is completely secure. While we do our best to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain data only for as long as it is necessary to support the legitimate purposes outlined in this Policy. Technical logs and usage-related data are typically stored in anonymized or aggregated form and are purged after a period of operational relevance.

If you choose to stop using the App or delete it from your device, no further data will be collected from that device. We do not maintain persistent personal identifiers, and there is no user account required to use the App, which further limits data retention scope.

7. International Data Transfers

Some of our technical partners may process information using servers or infrastructure located in countries outside your own. In such cases, we rely on industry-standard legal mechanisms—such as standard contractual clauses or other regulatory frameworks—to ensure that your data is treated with a high level of care and legal protection during such transfers.

Our commitment to data protection remains the same regardless of geographic location or the jurisdiction in which the data is processed.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location and applicable privacy laws, you may have rights related to the data we process. These rights could include access to your information, correction of inaccurate data, deletion of certain records, or the ability to restrict or object to certain forms of processing.

In addition, if any features of the App involve optional data sharing with third-party services, you will have the ability to opt out either via the App's settings or by choosing not to use those features. We do not process identifiable data without your interaction, and we do not collect personal data by default.

If you wish to make a privacy-related request, please contact us using the information provided below.

9. Children's Privacy

This App is not designed for, directed at, or intended to be used by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect, store, or process any personal information from individuals under this age threshold. If we become aware that data from a child has been inadvertently collected, we will take prompt steps to delete such information from our systems.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may occasionally update or revise this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices, regulatory obligations, or the functionality of the App. When material changes are made, we will notify users through the App interface, update notes, or other appropriate channels.

Continued use of the App following any changes to this Policy constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We recommend reviewing this Policy periodically to stay informed about how your data is handled.
